For women in midlife who are ready to work in ways that honour energy, capacity and real life

Does it ever feel like no matter how organised you are, you never quite find time to get it all done?

Has your capacity shifted (menopause, health, parenting or ageing parents) but the way you plan hasn't yet caught up?

Do sudden and unexpected demands throw your work schedule off track?

Is your work eating into the time you want (or need) for everything else?

What if our plans started with real life instead of a schedule?

In this workshop on Capacity Aware Planning, we'll step back to take a holistic view of our work and life. We'll explore where we're overcommitting, when we're overestimating what we have to give and the very real need to create space for midlife demands. We'll also look at ways to bring the wisdom and discernment that comes from our expertise to how we plan.

What is Capacity Aware Planning

Most of us have spent decades making plans that start with what needs doing. And for a long time, that worked.

But in midlife, those same strategies may start to feel like they're working against us. Not because we've lost our ability but because something has genuinely shifted.

Capacity aware planning starts somewhere different. Instead of beginning with the diary or the task list, we begin with ourselves.

We pay attention to the very real fluctuations in energy, bandwidth and hormones that are part of midlife. We factor in our current situation and what might be coming. And we bring the wisdom and discernment that decades of experience actually gives us to how we plan, not just what we plan for.

It's not about doing less. It's about working from where we actually are.

What we'll be exploring

Why we may overestimate what we have to give

And how our schedules may be working against us

Why capacity is rarely at 100%

And the drains, demands and midlife changes that are always part of the picture

Adding in a curveball allowance

And how it could help protect you from falling behind

Planning from wisdom rather than effort

And how crystallised intelligence can help you plan with discernment
